Last week we traveled to Udaipur, in the northern state of Rajasthan, to visit a former rickshaw driver named Mohammad. He quickly became our friend Mo when we connected with him on our first trip to ‘the most romantic city in India’ last February and we could not wait to see him again. We will share more of that experience later.
For now, we wanted to share some photos from our time working outside the city with an NGO educating kids from some of the most challenging conditions we have ever witnessed. The students’ spirit and smiles gave to us much more than we could give to them during our short volunteering stint. These photos, taken by our new and very talented friends Vincent and Sarah, provide just a glimpse into the remarkable energy of some special Indian children facing extraordinary circumstances.
